A new feature matters when it changes what users can do, how reliably they can do it, or what it costs to maintain their workflow. AboutCodex evaluates updates from primary documentation and observable behavior.
Establish the primary facts
Start with official documentation, release notes, product interfaces, and repositories. Record the publication date, availability, stated limitations, and whether the source describes a preview or a generally available feature.
Test the workflow impact
Ask what becomes faster, safer, or newly possible. Then inspect the migration cost: changed permissions, instructions, environments, review steps, or team habits.
- Who can use it today?
- What existing step does it replace or change?
- Which limits remain?
- What evidence would change the recommendation?
Publish uncertainty
When behavior has not been independently tested, say so. A useful news article can still explain the release, but it should not turn a product claim into a measured conclusion.
