What the site collects.

A plain-language description of the forms on this local publication.

The newsletter form collects your email address and records your subscription choice in MailerPress. Double opt-in is enabled. The local site sends test messages through Local’s mail catcher. Delivery to real inboxes must be verified on the public domain before launch.

Editorial contact

The contact form stores your name, email address, subject, and message in the private WordPress editorial inbox. It does not enroll you in the newsletter or send an automatic email. Avoid including passwords, access tokens, or confidential project data.

Interactive tools

The AGENTS.md builder and prompt-variable fields process their inputs in your browser. Their scripts do not send those inputs to the site.

Directory links may take you to third-party sites, which have their own privacy practices.

Requests

Use the contact form to request a correction or deletion of information you submitted. This notice describes the current local implementation and should be reviewed before a public launch.

Saved items and starting-point answers

Saved articles, skills, resources, and prompts are kept in this browser’s local storage, separately from lesson completion. They are not sent to the server and do not sync between devices. My Learning lets you remove individual saved items or clear the list. A bookmark can include the skill version at the time you save it.

Starting-point answers appear in the page URL to produce a recommendation. The finder does not create a profile or subscribe you to email.

Learning progress, comparisons, and reader reports

Completed lessons and selected comparison skills are stored in your browser’s local storage. They are not sent to AboutCodex. You can clear progress on My Learning; clearing browser site data removes both lists.

Reader reports store the affected page, the problem you describe, and an optional email address in a private WordPress editorial queue. Reports do not subscribe you to the newsletter. A short-lived hashed network identifier limits repeated submissions; it expires after ten minutes. To request deletion of a report, contact the publication and identify the report.
